Every diamond has its facets.
I’m really a gem of a guy.
Realistically, it’s hard to allow yourself to be defined by a mere one or two interests or traits. Like every diamond, we’re made up of many different facets that make us unique. Here are mine.
Currently based in Boston, I’m Cincinnati-born and bred. I’m grateful for Wegmans carrying Skyline Chili and Graeter’s ice cream, and kicking myself for skipping town just as the Bengals got good—and the Patriots stopped.
Not only am I a Midwestern transplant in the East Coast, but also a child of Soviet immigrants. Instead of Christmas and t-ball, there was New Year’s and dominos with Babushka. Coming out of it, speaking fluent Russian continues to be my party trick.
What’s more: I’m a car enthusiast with early-twenties money, driving a Honda Accord and pretending it’s a BMW M5. I’m a frequent consumer of smoked meats and cheeses, so pray for my arteries. I’m learning to appreciate being in bed earlier than later and reading on the train rather than scrolling.
